Hail Mechwarriors, It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing on this site that I have sold my Tesla II pods. They will be heading off to Minnesota to be moved into a retail location. I don't have any further details on their new home at this time.
The pods will be up and the basement will be humming this coming weekend. Come out and join in the fun as we say farewell to these pods that have served their jobs so well as a central point for fun and battletech simulation.
It was an honor to be the host for the Palisades Division of Battletech Firestorm pilots. We have had some great times in these pods. I truly appreciate the support I received from the community over the past four years and I will really miss hosting pod nights here. Please come out and join the last frays here at the pod bay and let me thank you all in person for your support and fun. I placed the pods here in my basement not for myself, but for all of you. I am really glad I did it, they are memories that will last a lifetime. Between Sitelink, dueling ladders, hosting the 2006 invitational, tournament events, regulars nights, boot camps, private parties, you name it, we've done it here. I just can't put into words how awesome the past 4 years of having the pods here has been and how much I will miss it all.
I hope you can make it, Saturday night, the 14th for one last night of Pod Mayhem before I start breaking down the pods to prepare for them trucking out of here on Monday.
Thank you all and hope to see you soon and I sincerely hope you are all well,
Michael aka Sauron |

I made the trek out west to Dallas, the hosting site of the 2009 Firestorm Invitational!
I was not sure how well prepared I was as this year I have played the least of any since I started playing Firestorm back in 2003. But I fully intended to shake off the rust as quickly as possible and give them all hell and show them what the east coast pilots can do when given a mech to command. I believe I did a good job representing the East Coast... |
