Welcome to the MAD Racers' Home Page!
The MAD racers is a group of 4 close friends who are dedicated to the slot car hobby. We race periodically because we are addicted to the thrill of speeding, crashing and tweaking our cars. Our goal is to hold at least one race per month with all members present. To date, we have only done this once. But we are just getting going. We primarily race thunderjets as we enjoy those bodies the most. We held our first race in the form of a time trial event. TTT1 was a fun success for all.  (TTT = Thursday Time Trials) We are working on planning our first race event next. (Hopefully within the next 3 weeks.) Here are pictures and results of TTT1. Bill brought his team yellow. Michael raced his team red & white. Brian's star piece is his custom flame-job Willy's. Chuck, as usual, tinkered with his predominantly street car oriented lineup, the can-am shadow was a surprise. Chuck's usual tinkering and door-slammin' racing were no surprise to the group. I hope all had fun, it was good clean racing.
