| Since the late
70's I have been a big fan of Aurora's AFX slot cars.
They were even cooler to me than my Lionel trains, yet another hobby of mine. I am almost 100% complete with the 4-lane Tomy AFX layout in my basement. Tomy track seems like it's more durable. It also seems like the overall construction is better, lower rails, smoother joints when connected etc. The LINKS button has a bunch of my favorite links for hobby stores that sell parts, information pages and other AFX related links. The Photos page has some photos of my layout in different stages. The ThunderJets page is dedicated to the best chassis made in model motoring history. I can't say enough about my love for those older cars, much more realistic and fun to drive than the newer magnet cars.
